What is processed, stored, and shared.

The Last Reply uses your message and context to generate one AI reply. It is not actually sent to the real person.

Text, screenshots, and screen-recording frames may be processed by our server, Google Cloud Vision OCR, and OpenAI. Raw screenshots, recordings, and pasted context are temporary and are deleted after a compact style summary is created.

We store the final message, the AI reply, the compact context summary, basic safety flags, and payment entitlement records. We also keep an anonymous device id so one free reply can stay one free reply.

Payment is handled by Stripe. Paid access is recovered with a Supabase magic link sent to the checkout email.

Share cards contain only what you see on them: your one message, the AI reply, labels, and a small thelastreply.com mark. Hosted public links are optional, unlisted, and noindex by default.

We do not sell your messages. We do not use your messages to train our own models. Model providers may process requests under their API terms.

About the reply

The response is AI-generated based on the context you provide. It is not the real person. It doesn't know them, and it cannot know what they feel now. It's a plausible text in their style — and nothing more.
